Throwback Beauty: The Return of Lancome's Classic Holiday Red

While fads come and go, vintage is forever.

Lancôme  has recognized this just in time for the holiday season. And as part of their holiday collection, the beauty brand has reissued their classic Rouge Etincelle, a lipstick that is a vibrant and ultra-glam shade of red.

And for those of us who have been waiting for the perfect lip color for winter, may have been waiting for over 58 years, as this glamorous, mid-century issued shade hasn't been seen at cosmetic counters since 1955!

While this throwback is delightful, Lancôme couldn't bring the hue back ‘round without adding a bit of a modern edge.

If you take a closer look at the tube itself, you’ll see that it sparkles. And that  isn't just any kind of  bedazzling, those are miniature Swarovski crystals. Not only will you look glam, so will your case.
