Temples at DC9

Last week not only marked another amazing turkey day full of good eats and good times with friends and family, but it was also the week that Temples, the UK-based 60s-inspired psychedelic quartet stopped by DC9 to perform for music-hungry Washingtonians.
Bandmates James Edward Bagshaw (vocals/guitar), Thomas Edison Warmsley (bass), Sam Toms (drums) and Adam Smith (keyboard) performed an eight-song set that had fans giving their full attention to the nostalgia-inducing group. Their dreamy lush sounds, reminiscent of The Beatles or The Monkeys, filled the darkly-lit DC9 venue and had us in a summer state of mind, despite the fact that it was the end of November.
Though their memorable performance is long gone, thankfully, we'll have February to look forward to, when the band drops their debut album. We're betting some of our favorite summer jams will probably be on their much-anticipated album.
In the meantime, check out some photos from the performance.
