Lisa Perry's Roy Lichenstein Pop Art Capsule Collection
Designer Lisa Perry has teamed up with the estate of famed artist, Roy Lichtenstein to launch a capsule collection of dresses that is inspired by pop art.
The limited-edition cotton dresses features Perry's signature shift dress that is embellished with three of Lichtenstein's famous comic book-esque prints: "No Thank You" (1964), "On" (1962), and "Spray" (1962).
The dresses retail for a whopping $2000 and can be bought on Perry's online store or Madison Avenue boutique.
For those of us who may not have a mortgage payment to spend on a dress, Perry has also designed a fantastic series of t-shirts that go for an affordable $75. The t-shirts are adorned with three vivid and quirky Lichtenstein prints: "Keds" (1961), "Hot Dog With Mustard" (1963), and "Compositions I" (1964).
Whether it be a dress or a shirt, Perry has all of us art junkies in heaven with her new collection. Also, you can feel good about yourself in wearing her collection--a portion of the proceeds from each sale will benefit the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, New York.
