Nicholas Kirkwood's Spring 2012 Shoe Collection

Shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood, who’s famous for designing stylish catwalk kicks for designers likes Ghost, John Rocha, Erdem, Rodarte, and Pollini, has created a new line of shoes for his spring/summer 2012 collection inspired by his recent vacation to Bali.

The British designer told Vogue that he hasn’t been on vacation since starting the company seven years ago. So after escaping the Resort season, he returned with tropical garden-like inspired designs.

The collection is very feminine and features a variety of deep-water blues, bright greens, reds, floral prints and a very interesting birds-in-flight print—all in a thick square heel, making the shoes look modern.

This just shows what some good old R&R can do for some people.

The shoes will be priced between $695 and $1266 and is currently available for pre-order at Moda Operandi.
