The BRACED-LETS: Jewelry That Makes Braces Look Good

We can all remember the days back when we had braces. They sucked, right?  The only thing we had to get excited about was choosing what color band we would get next.

And even that wasn't so fun.

But renowned orthodontists doctors Mark Lemchen and Jennifer Salzer must have had an aha moment while putting these bands on some poor child, and realized that they could make these colorful bands into a fashion accessory.

We present to you, BRACED-LETS.

Luckily, Dr. Salzer also happens to be the sister of accessories designer, Lisa Salzer, who was the brainchild for the jewelry line, LuLu Frost. Together, the sisters have combined the two separate worlds of fashion and orthodontistry to create a rather unconventional bracelet.

An odd combination, these wacky bracelets are turning out to be a major hit. In just the few weeks they have been on sale, they have become almost as popular as Lisa's LuLu Frost line!

When you think about it, it is a pretty creative idea. The bracelets are bright, funky and, if anything, unconventional—which are the top things we look for in an accessory. Plus, you get to make the trip down memory lane and actually have a laugh as you recall your horrid, metal mouth days.

They come in a multitude of bright, neon colors with sparkle brackets strategically placed to give them their unique, quirky character.

You can buy them for just $5 at Opening Ceremony, Fred Segal, Rob Robinson, Ricky's, and BracedLets.com.

What do you think? Would you wear these nifty bracelets? Or do you find it weird to wear something that is meant to be in someone's mouth on your wrist?

Keep it loud
