Max Headroom

I was talking to a friend, who happens to be a few years younger than me, when I brought up the topic of the 1980’s fictional character, Max Headroom.

After explaining to her that Max Headroom was not a type of headboard, I realized that I might as well have been speaking in Chinese, because she had no earthly idea as to who or what I was talking about.

A little history on Mr. Headroom: Max Headroom is a fictional British artificial intelligence character originally developed for the 1985 Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future cyberpunk movie.

Max Mania took over the streets with Max Headroom apparel, merchandise, commercials (Coca-Cola), and music videos.

For Flashback Fridays, we’re taking a walk down memory lane with the character synonymous with the 1980’s, Max Headroom.
