Breaking the Rules
style rules are made to be broken
Mix the prints. Clash the colors. Wear the white whenever you want. A fashion story for anyone who never read the rulebook, or read it and set it on fire.

You know them too well. Don’t mix your prints. Never wear black and navy. No white after Labor Day. Always match.
Some rules deserve to be broken. Photographer Yulia McClamrock and stylists Mei Tan and Audrey Leon take a red pen to the style rulebook: print on print, cobalt tights with canary heels, fur over satin and attitude for days, in looks from Ladakh, Gilded Age, Alice Ritter, Sylvie Markovina and more.
