Romanced by broderie anglaise and pretty filigree, designers such as Balmain, Moschino, Missoni and Fendi explored the soothing appeal of white. Looks that turned blank canvases of white into captivating works of art were seen on the spring13 runways, many revealing clean, precise origami folds of light fabrics as well as technical cottons.
