One Day on Earth: Documentary Explores the Human Experience Within a 24-Hour Period

“May the seven thousand actions of our brothers and sisters, of around the globe, on the most widespread day of environmental action in the planet's history, make a significant difference.”

This quote, from the new documentary, One Day on Earth, signifies the greatest push for worldwide environmental change this planet has ever seen.

Founded in 2008 as a means of showcasing “the amazing diversity, conflict, tragedy, and triumph that occur in one day”, One Day on Earth has taken the idea of global unity and channeled it into a single visually stunning medium.

On October 10, 2010, thousands of people contributed to the making of history by filming their human experience over a 24-hour period in every single country around the world. This footage was later used to create one revolutionary documentary.

The trailer offers a montage of everything that film wishes to explore – the diversity, solidarity, and beauty of humanity, connected by one beautiful environment that must not only be appreciated, but also preserved.
