5 Summer Anthems For Your iPod

Tired- Seeside
Electro-synth rockers Seeside, have only barely begun their career, and already, they’re garnering the attention of fans all over their native Italy. The track “Tired” off of their first EP, “Find the Difference” (available on I-tunes), has spunk. With harsh vocals and wonderfully cacophonous instrumentals, “Tired” is a true anthem.

If You Wanna – The Vaccines

Kisses – The Shivers
The Shivers have delivered another heavenly dose of bluesy goodness with this one. Their melancholic sound is both thoughtful and endearing. This sweet song drips with aching vocals that make you want to just… kiss.

Broken Jaw- Foster the People
The fact that “Broken Jaw” didn’t make it onto Foster The People's acclaimed album “Torches” only adds to its charm. This electronic ditty is both powerful and energetic. Emotional in the most unexpected way, “Broken Jaw” is live music, raw and at its best.

Library Pictures – The Arctic Monkeys
Off of one of the best summer albums of 2011, thus far, “Library Pictures” is classic Arctic Monkeys. Who really knows what the hell they’re talking about, but who cares? Tongue-in-cheek at its finest, this British foursome, and this track are pure magic.
